About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Pizza House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of ethnic dishes, including South Indian, East Indian, and West Indian cuisine.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality dishes are produced.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, urban area, various locations, and fast food outlet or concession.
