Senior Frontend Engineer

Kong Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our UI Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, robust, and responsive user interfaces and components for our applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers and the product team to deliver scalable components and frontend solutions for our applications.
  • Design and develop UI components and experiences that meet the highest standards of user experience and accessibility.
  • Work with engineers to improve the architecture of our frontend application and shared components.
  • Help build a world-class developer portal experience.
  • Write tests using Cypress and Vitest with great code coverage.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional experience with Vue/Nuxt and TypeScript.
  • ~5+ years of experience building SaaS Web applications and web developer tools using HTML, CSS, JS.
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX principles and user experience.
  • Working understanding of mono repos and micro-frontends.
  • Able to learn new systems and languages quickly.
  • Can own projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
