Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with patients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the specimen collection process.
- Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings with precision and accuracy.
- Collect and process specimens for testing, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, specimen collection, and test results.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy experience and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
