Position Overview:

In collaboration with the Cybersecurity leadership, this role is pivotal in engaging with Game Studios, Central Technology Teams, and Cybersecurity to facilitate proactive security evaluations aimed at uncovering vulnerabilities within the organization's systems, applications, and network architecture. The individual in this position will spearhead application security initiatives to enhance Cybersecurity measures across our gaming products and services. We are in search of a seasoned leader who possesses a wealth of experience in directing and mentoring cybersecurity professionals and penetration testers throughout their engagements focused on identifying bugs and vulnerabilities, while also collaborating with engineering teams to implement effective remediations. This role will be accountable for the performance of the team and their capacity to instigate positive transformations within Zynga.

Positions Duties:

Oversee a team of 5-6 Penetration Testers Coordinate the planning process, setting goals and tracking achievements across the Security team, including off-site events. Manage Penetration Testing Engagements ensuring a high level of satisfaction among Engineering teams. Provide the Director of Cybersecurity with data-driven strategic insights. Communicate outcomes from initiatives to management and the wider organization. Represent the Director in meetings and act as a spokesperson when necessary.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; advanced degree in science, engineering, or technology preferred. Offensive Security Certified Professional certification is mandatory. 5-7+ years of experience in Application Development / Penetration Testing. Proven leadership experience and strong interpersonal skills. Experience in gaming security is advantageous. Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail. Capability to collaborate with teammates and clients to address complex challenges.
