About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Apprentice Light Duty Automotive Technician at CB Canada. As an Apprentice Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a skilled and supportive team to further your career in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain work orders from the Shop Foreman and review them to ensure understanding.
- Interpret work orders and technical manuals, diagnose faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs.
- Perform work as noted on work orders, repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed.
- Test repaired vehicles for proper performance to ensure that completed work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations.
- Complete detailed written reports for the completion of work orders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Senior Apprentice preferred (2nd Year or 3rd Year Preferred).
- Fleet maintenance experience.
- Tire-changing experience.
- New rig-up / re-rig experience.
- ADP experience considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
