About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Ami's Kitchen Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure they are properly sanitized.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as soups, salads, and sandwiches.
    • Portion and wrap foods for service, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Handle and store cleaning products, ensuring they are properly labeled and secured.
  • Housekeeping
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Helper at Ami's Kitchen Inc, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Will train on the job.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work environment is physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and attention to detail.
