About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced martial arts instructor to join our team at Kim's Premier Taekwondo. As a martial arts instructor, you will be responsible for leading group and individual training sessions, planning and executing recreational and fitness activities, and ensuring the health and safety of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Demonstrate and instruct various martial arts techniques and activities to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Program Planning: Plan and execute recreational and fitness programs, including designing lesson plans and selecting equipment and supplies.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead groups and individuals in martial arts training sessions, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all students follow health and safety regulations, and provide emergency assistance when required.
  • Equipment Management: Assemble and maintain equipment and supplies for martial arts training sessions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
