Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Grocery Team Leader to join our team at 88 Supermarket Ltd. As a key member of our grocery department, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the efficient operation of the store.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Grocery Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to drive store sales growth.
  • Review and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support customers in emergency situations and inform management immediately.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment that meets health department standards.
  • Ensure grocery shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Set up and maintain store displays to increase sales.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of displays, equipment, and floors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and rotation activities to minimize waste and expired products.
  • Receive and inspect grocery deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Train and support new team members in grocery department procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Salary: $19 per hour
