International Student Ambassador

Job Summary
The Student Society of McGill University (SSMU) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of International Student Representative. This is an unpaid and non-voting position that requires strong knowledge of the SSMU and governance structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend meetings of the Board of Directors as a guest, in a non-voting capacity, at the invitation of the Board.
- Provide input and insights on matters related to international student affairs.
- Assist in promoting the SSMU's mission and values among international students.
Qualifications
- SSMU membership.
- International student status within the SSMU membership.
- Strong knowledge of the SSMU and governance structures.
- Experience in financial, operational, and legal matters.
Additional Information
- This is a volunteer position with an average time commitment of 4 hours per month.
- The SSMU is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
