Accoravillage is a prominent organization in the bio-science sector, dedicated to contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity. This role is essential for overseeing project deliverables and ensuring the successful execution of engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize and execute assigned project deliverables effectively.
  • Ensure all equipment is commissioned and qualified according to established quality documents and regulations.
  • Participate in the development of capital project scope, goals, and user requirement specifications (USRS).
  • Conduct hands-on startup of new process equipment and instrumentation, troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Develop and execute Equipment Qualification Protocols (EQP) and perform data collection and statistical analysis.
  • Review and update 'As Built' drawings in collaboration with external contractors.
  • Organize project documentation, drawings, and files efficiently.
  • Coordinate project startup, commissioning, and validation activities with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Maintenance Department by providing guidance to tradespeople.
  • Set up project consumables within the MRP system while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Engage with vendors to determine product specifications and evaluate products against quality standards.
  • Research technical information for the installation, maintenance, and operation of instruments and equipment.
  • Identify critical testing requirements for instrumentation and equipment prior to qualification.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Post-Secondary Education in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment.
