About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Marketing team in Langley, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leveraging data and analytics to drive business decisions and deliver high-quality insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business questions, processes, and KPIs.
  2. Formulate testable hypotheses aligned with business questions and conduct statistical experiments in a live environment.
  3. Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using SQL scripts.
  4. Utilize Python scripts in a Jupyter Notebook environment for data analysis, data wrangling, statistical testing, and predictive modeling.
  5. Mentor and cross-train data analysts in experimentation best practices and statistical design.
  6. Design and develop dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to convey insights and report on KPIs and test results.
  7. Work with IT and Data Scientists to identify technical and data requirements for deploying analytic solutions tailored to business needs.
  8. Discover unique and creative insights to identify new opportunities for driving business value.
Requirements
  1. A degree in a STEM discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics or data science.
  2. Advanced Python coding skills and experience with other programming languages.
  3. Advanced understanding of SQL and experience with experimental design principles.
  4. Understanding of advanced analytics and data science methods such as anomaly detection, forecasting, and supervised and unsupervised learning.
  5. Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  6. Working knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, or AWS and experience with big data tools such as Spark and Databricks.
