Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation and Repair Helper to join our team at Energy Cable. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and repair of underground wiring and cables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials to and from job sites.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required.
  • Install underground wiring and cables, and assist in constructing underground installations.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be working at various locations, and work must be completed at the physical location, with no option to work remotely.

Requirements
  • English or French language proficiency.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
