Job Title: Farm Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Labourer to join our team at Lower Village Farm. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with various farm tasks, including animal handling, crop maintenance, and equipment operation.

Work Environment

Our farm is located in a rural area, and you will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Handling animals, including cattle, sheep, and other livestock
  • Organizing tasks to accomplish farm work
  • Performing livestock feeding and crop maintenance
  • Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
  • Cleaning stables, barns, and pens
  • Performing general farm duties
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work with repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
