Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse will perform a variety of medical procedures, including administering medications, drawing blood, and documenting patient care. This is a project-based position with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:- Ensure adherence to nursing facility policies, procedures, and standards.
- Complete medical records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate patient health status and progress.
- Communicate with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.
- Provide information regarding patient status to physicians or other care providers.
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure.
- Active BLS/CPR Certification.
- Knowledge of Med Surg required.
- Immunization Record (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB (Or Chest X-Ray if two-step TB is not available)).
- Contract length: 3 months.
- Pay: $45.00 per hour.
- Expected hours: No less than 36 per week.
- Overtime pay.
- 10 hour shift.
- 12 hour shift.
- 8 hour shift.
- Day shift.
- Evening shift.
- Every Weekend.
- Holidays.
- Monday to Friday.
- Morning shift.
- Night shift.
- No weekends.
- Overtime.
- Weekends as needed.
- Vancouver, BC: Relocation package available.
- BC LPN License required.
