Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Support Specialist to join our team at Direct Energy. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and effective support to customers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, including pricing, features, and benefits.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the development of proposals and contracts for customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Contract Administration: Manage and maintain accurate records of customer contracts, including renewals, terminations, and amendments.
  • SLA Management: Monitor and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and effective delivery of services to customers.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in the energy industry, knowledge of retail energy commodity products and pricing components, and knowledge of the sales cycle.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in an open office environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal travel required.
