We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dawson Dental in Hanover, ON. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient care and support in an enthusiastic and personalized manner.
- Ensure patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goals for comprehensive oral health.
- Collect patient dental and medical history to reference during examinations.
- Take X-Rays and follow all safety procedures as required.
- Examine gums for infections or gum disease and educate patients on good oral hygiene habits.
- Update patient records and examination notes.
- Perform lab duties and prepare dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Call patients for aftercare and answer any questions.
- Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program completion.
- Registered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within the province, in good standing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid training.
- Competitive hourly and/or commission wage.
