We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Five Counties Children's Centre. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, treatment, and consultation services to children and youth with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to address a range of communication disorders, including speech, language, and fluency difficulties.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Develop and implement training programs for caregivers, educators, and other professionals to enhance their knowledge and skills in supporting children with communication disorders.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to communication services.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
- Experience working with children and youth with communication disorders, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and time management skills.
- A competitive salary range of $75,492 - $85,680, commensurate with experience.
