Lasta Cafe Ltd. is a dynamic and fast-paced bakery and cafe that is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team.

Job Summary

The Bakery Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and assisting with the preparation and display of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • Merchandise Preparation: Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Teamwork: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for extended periods, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Available for the advertised start date.
