Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painting Supervisor to join our team at My Dream Home Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing painting and decorating projects, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate painting and decorating projects, including preparation, execution, and completion.
  • Lead and train a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent workmanship.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control inventory, materials, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in painting and decorating, with a focus on supervision and project management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on education and training.
Working Conditions
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, with exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental factors.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines to manage.
  • Travel to various job sites, with occasional overnight stays.
Language

English is the primary language of communication, with occasional use of French.

Work Schedule

32-35 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
