The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to effectively supervise workers and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of construction workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
- Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule construction activities, including ordering materials, equipment, and supplies, and ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are in place.
- Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for construction projects, and ensure that all expenses are accurately recorded and reported.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all construction sites are safe and healthy environments for workers, and that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
- Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, firing, and promotions, and ensure that all personnel matters are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction management or a related field
- Language: English
- Work Term: Permanent
- Hours: 30 hours per week
