About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Bold Construction & Renovations Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our building projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Building Layouts: Use measuring tools to ensure that building layouts are accurate and in compliance with building codes.
  • Carpentry and Joinery: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create building structures.
  • Foundation and Framing: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to create a solid base for our buildings.
  • Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the building's exterior and interior.
  • Site Surveying: Conduct site surveys to ensure that building locations and levels are accurate.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
