Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a key member of the healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings. As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in acute care settings, utilizing evidence-based practice and continuous improvement principles.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain clinical competence through ongoing education and professional development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care.
About this Location/Unit:
Arrow Lakes Hospital is a small rural hospital serving a population of approximately 5,000. The hospital provides a range of services, including acute care, emergency department, mental health and addictions services, and home care. The hospital is well-equipped and well-maintained, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
