About the Role:

As a Solutions Architect at Amazon, you will partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to design and implement highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with AWS Sales to drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads.
  • Support the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform.
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical solutions architect role, designing, implementing distributed applications, databases, analytics, and networks.
  • Pre-sales experience and/or experience contributing to requests for proposal.
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT managers, and developers.
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
