Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician Apprentice to join our team. As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks, including:

  • Diagnostics and Repairs
    • Utilizing state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues
    • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Tire and Wheel Services
    • Inspecting and repairing tires and wheels
    • Performing tire rotations and balancing
  • Brake and Suspension Services
    • Inspecting and repairing brake systems
    • Performing suspension and steering repairs
  • Engine and Cooling Services
    • Inspecting and repairing engine and cooling systems
    • Performing oil changes and filter replacements
  • Electrical and Electronics Services
    • Inspecting and repairing electrical and electronic systems
    • Performing battery and starter repairs

Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostic tests and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Inspecting and repairing tires, wheels, brakes, and suspension systems
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Assisting senior technicians with complex repairs and diagnostics
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication

Requirements

To be successful as an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of automotive repair principles and practices
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Provincial Certificate of Qualification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner and tools preferred)

Compensation

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30.00 per hour.
