This position encompasses security monitoring, access management, safeguarding property, and various security responsibilities. Candidates must be residents of Iqaluit, NU to qualify.

SSRG is a prominent security firm in Canada, providing comprehensive risk management and security services to a diverse clientele. Our team's professionalism and dedication to quality ensure exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement regulations and respond effectively to emergencies
  • Record visitor entries and exits
  • Ensure security during Legislative Assembly sessions
  • Perform patrols throughout the premises
  • Coordinate with Maintenance for any concerns
  • Oversee the facility through CCTV monitoring
  • Comply with established security protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in security preferred

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Willingness to undergo substance testing
  • Must reside in Iqaluit, Nunavut

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage of $22

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday with potential weekend shifts

Available Shifts:

  • Night, Overnight, and Day shifts
