We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Opeongo High School. As a Custodian, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Under the supervision of the head custodian and/or area supervisor, perform a variety of custodial duties to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the school.
- Ensure that all areas of the school are clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
- Work collaboratively with other custodial staff to achieve common goals and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in custodial work or a related field an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
