About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Bison Excavation & Demolition Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and setting up scaffolding and other equipment.
  • Construction Tasks: Perform tasks such as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete and asphalt, as well as assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Demolition and Cleanup: Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up construction sites by removing rubble and debris.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Tend to and feed machines and equipment used in construction, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment: You will be working in a variety of settings, including construction sites and offices.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: You will be working a standard 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime required.
