As a Senior Environmental Consultant at Trinity Consultants, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality client relationships through sales, project management, and personnel management. Your expertise will ensure that air quality projects are completed correctly, on time, and within budget, while also providing quality projects for the assigned team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and verify the technical accuracy and quality of project-related work, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Guide staff to achieve efficient progress and timely completion of consulting projects within established budgets.
- Coordinate project team efforts to ensure timely completion, invoicing review, and project budget maintenance.
- Maintain business development relationships through sales calls and professional networking.
- Promote client stewardship by being attentive to existing clients' needs and encouraging consultant staff to identify business opportunities.
- Develop sales proposals for existing and prospective clients, highlighting Trinity Consultants' expertise and services.
- Identify new marketing opportunities and assist business development staff with literature development, communication, and follow-up.
- Attend and present papers at conferences, prepare regulatory updates, and present luncheon seminars to showcase Trinity Consultants' expertise.
- Communicate management decisions and goals to staff, ensuring alignment with company objectives and personal goals.
- Ensure proper utilization and billing of consulting staff, monitoring and evaluating employees' performance of goals and performance standards continuously.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise 1-3 employees in Environmental Consulting, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Trinity Consultants' policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil Engineering, or a related Atmospheric/Environmental Science field, along with at least two to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must also have regulatory, industry, and technical knowledge relating to permit applicability, emission inventories, air dispersion modeling, and federal and state permitting requirements. Additionally, you should have computer literacy, including basic programming, word processing, spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of the Microsoft Office software package.
