Private Banker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Banker to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Private Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to high net worth clients, managing their financial portfolios, and identifying opportunities for growth and development.

• Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing personalized service and financial solutions to meet their needs.
• Develop and execute business strategies to attract and retain high net worth clients, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive financial solutions, including commercial lending, wealth management, and risk management.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients on investment opportunities and risk management strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on market trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with Scotiabank's policies and procedures.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial lending experience and 10 years of banking experience.
• Established network of high net worth clients in the Canadian banking industry.
• Managerial commercial and/or retail banking experience, dealing with high net worth clients and sophisticated financing requirements.
• University degree (BComm, MBA, CFA), in addition to industry courses (eg. CSC, PFP, CFP).
