Role Overview
As a Technical Artist specializing in Environment, you will oversee various technical elements associated with the overall aesthetics of game environments, including level design, modeling, texturing, and integration. In addition to possessing extensive artistic expertise, you must also demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency.
Collaborating with other members of a multidisciplinary team, the technical environment artist will manage many intricate technical components related to the visual elements that constitute the game levels. Acting as a resource within your team, you will assist, mentor, and guide colleagues while developing production workflows and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Become proficient in the graphical aspects of the engine utilized for level creation, establishing yourself as a key reference in the domain;
- Support both artistic and technical teams in their development decisions, focusing on quality and performance;
- Utilize and implement optimal tools and methodologies to enhance productivity while adhering to constraints;
- Conduct training sessions to ensure all graphics team members can effectively use production tools and techniques;
- Develop, integrate, validate, and optimize graphical data within the engine;
- Participate in project reviews;
- Address complex graphical challenges based on their priority, assisting other artists in resolving their issues;
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
Qualifications

- Experience as a modeler, level artist, special effects artist, lighting artist, or character modeler in the gaming industry;
- Exceptional technical abilities;
