The role involves preparing and applying coatings to components such as landing gear, hydraulic cylinders, and other detailed parts. This includes identifying and preparing parts for painting or delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct visual inspections of parts to ensure cleanliness before proceeding with painting operations.
• Adjust spray equipment, prepare mixtures according to established standards, and troubleshoot issues independently.
• Execute moderately complex tasks that require precision and attention to detail, with significant financial implications.
• Occasionally perform masking and unmasking of parts prior to painting.
• Prepare and apply transparent sealants and cosmetic touch-ups using provided equipment, ensuring thorough cleaning afterward.
• Assemble and calibrate measuring instruments as needed.
• Occasionally mentor and guide colleagues in their tasks.
• Interpret instructions and standards relevant to the role without technical assistance.
• Ensure quality and quantity of work, completing necessary documentation.
• Report any work-related anomalies or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and workstations.
• Possess personal tools required for the role (minimum list).
• Perform any other related tasks assigned by immediate supervisors.
• Completion of secondary education and one year of specialized training.
• Strong analytical and judgment skills required.
• Must possess a minimum set of personal tools.
