Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing all duties related to purchase order entry and post-entry supply chain tracking.


Key Responsibilities


  • Accurately enter, proof, and submit purchase orders based on customer demand, stock replenishment, and management direction.
  • Maintain a superior level of accuracy while creating and verifying purchase order information, including proper product cost and shipment instructions.
  • Coordinate order status report submission from suppliers, resolve changes, discrepancies, and update purchase order information accordingly.
  • Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and maintain supplier price lists.
  • Maintain all vendor reports, evaluate all issues, and assist in preparing all data reports for purchasing and managing buying trends.


Requirements


  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience using an ERP system.
  • Purchasing functions.
  • Administrative assistance experience.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Professional-level purchasing agent experience in the public sector is an asset.
