Renewable Energy SCADA Team Lead

Are you passionate about driving the future of renewable energy? We're seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy SCADA Team Lead to join our dynamic team at WSP USA. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing a fast-growing team of SCADA engineers, leading cutting-edge solar and wind projects, and innovating with the latest technologies to make a tangible impact on global sustainability.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of SCADA engineers in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects
  • Manage the workload and assignment of the SCADA team to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Foster a collaborative culture through mentorship and guidance, perform annual performance reviews, and define yearly objectives
  • Manage relationships with internal and external clients to ensure their needs are understood and met
  • Contribute to the technical implementation of projects using your technical expertise
  • Support the development of the team by providing training and mentoring
  • Ensure project quality control by reviewing peer work and following state-of-the-art design processes

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional SCADA experience in operations, engineering, or project management
  • Experience in SCADA integration, relevant SCADA communication protocols, computer interfaces, networks, and cyber security
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions among SCADA vendors and other team members
  • Access to a vehicle, a clean Driver's Abstract, and proficiency in the MS Office suite of products
