If so, this role as Financial Crimes Audit Manager offers you the chance to:

  • Utilize your expertise in planning and executing comprehensive audits in accordance with established audit plans, aligning with relevant policies and regulatory standards in a timely manner.
  • Lead the planning phase for assigned audits, ensuring the completion of suitable programs and risk assessments to mitigate risks and enhance effectiveness across the organization.
  • Support the audit opinion in line with internal controls and professional audit standards, presenting findings and recommendations to clients and audit management.
  • Manage follow-ups on new findings from regulatory and internal divisional audits, ensuring all data is current and accurately documented.
  • Evaluate and identify deficiencies in internal processes, recommending enhancements to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Remain informed about emerging trends and developments related to business, analytical tools, and techniques to deliver quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Act with the utmost integrity while adhering to regulatory guidelines, fulfilling your due diligence, and handling confidential information with care.
  • Foster a fair and positive work environment where team members can openly discuss challenges and share ideas, knowledge, and skills, maintaining strong working relationships to achieve common objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or equivalent education (CAMS is considered an asset).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) and Internet tools.
  • Able to work across multiple functions, providing guidance to team members and ensuring positive relations across teams and functions for projects requiring cross-functional integration.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact clearly and effectively in a dynamic environment.
