Are you prepared to lend your subject matter expertise in executing audits for designated business areas, functions, or projects of varying complexity while leading moderately complex audits? Can you oversee multiple audits and ensure their successful completion? Are you eager to delve into TD's processes and provide recommendations for enhanced efficiencies? If so, this role as Financial Crimes Audit Manager offers you the chance to:
- Utilize your expertise in planning and executing comprehensive audits in accordance with established audit plans, aligning with relevant policies and regulatory standards in a timely manner.
- Lead the planning phase for assigned audits, ensuring the completion of suitable programs and risk assessments to mitigate risks and enhance effectiveness across the organization.
- Support the audit opinion in line with internal controls and professional audit standards, presenting findings and recommendations to clients and audit management.
- Manage follow-ups on new findings from regulatory and internal divisional audits, ensuring all data is current and accurately documented.
- Evaluate and identify deficiencies in internal processes, recommending enhancements to improve operational efficiencies.
- Remain informed about emerging trends and developments related to business, analytical tools, and techniques to deliver quality results within tight deadlines.
- Act with the utmost integrity while adhering to regulatory guidelines, fulfilling your due diligence, and handling confidential information with care.
- Foster a fair and positive work environment where team members can openly discuss challenges and share ideas, knowledge, and skills, maintaining strong working relationships to achieve common objectives.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or equivalent education (CAMS is considered an asset).
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) and Internet tools.
- Able to work across multiple functions, providing guidance to team members and ensuring positive relations across teams and functions for projects requiring cross-functional integration.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact clearly and effectively in a dynamic environment.
