L3Harris Technologies is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on CF-18 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on CF-18 aircraft, including certification with approved processes.
- Report any un-airworthy conditions discovered, including service difficulties.
- Utilize certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
- Familiarize yourself with L3 MAS policies and processes.
- Marshalling, fueling, and towing of aircraft.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Assume responsibility for your work as indicated by your signature/stamp.
- Perform duties such as repair, modification, and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Report any un-airworthy conditions discovered.
- Familiarization of the MPM and related processes.
- Participate in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested.
- You must hold an AME M license and have qualifications on heavy aircraft in the following areas: Engine/Airframe interface, Environmental Control, Electrical System, Hydraulic System, Fuel System, Flight Control System.
- You must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- You must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada "Reliability" status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- You must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
