Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and professional medical care to injured personnel and facilitate their transport to medical facilities as needed.

• Uphold the dignity, safety, privacy, and confidentiality of all clients at all times.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

• Utilize personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols as mandated by health and safety legislation.

• Report any hazardous conditions or incidents to management immediately.

• Exercise the right to refuse work if a dangerous situation is identified.

• Familiarize oneself with and adhere to the Medical Control Guidelines and safety policies established by the organization.

• Operate within the scope of practice as defined by the licensing authority and under the guidance of the medical director.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a First Aid or Occupational Health environment.

• Completion of an accredited Advanced Care Paramedic program.

• Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics as an Advanced Care Paramedic.

• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and International Trauma Life Support (advanced).

• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's License (excluding Learner's Permit or Graduated License).

• Clean Driver's Abstract.

• Completion of site-specific orientation as required.

• Current certifications in Standard Field Level Tickets, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS, and Common Safety Orientation.

• ATV/Snowmobile safety training and experience is advantageous.

• Previous experience in the Industrial or Oil & Gas sector as a medic is preferred.

• Physically capable of working in challenging weather conditions.

• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Additional Information:
Preference will be given to local candidates. Accommodations and travel arrangements will be provided for candidates from outside the local area.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $50.00-$58.00 per hour
