Job Summary
Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist to join its team at Penticton Regional Hospital. As a key member of the Medical Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing special procedures such as computer tomography (CT) and interventional radiology, under the direction of a Radiologist. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform CT and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of tasks
* Assist Radiologists during procedures, inputting patient-specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS
* Provide guidance and direction to student technologists and staff trainees
* Collaborate with the Professional Practice Leader to ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures

Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program, plus successful completion of a recognized program in Computer Tomography
* Two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compensation
As of April 1, 2024, the new rate schedule for this position is $38.07 - $47.52.
