Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Nisku Truck Stop. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that stock levels are accurate
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
