Job Title: Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary regional rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating rehabilitation services for children and adult populations using a client-centered, goal-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop rehabilitation plans for clients
  • Provide direct intervention, consultation, and education to clients and caregivers
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in clinical supervision and training for students and provisional members
  • Contribute to the education of other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Masters or Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent entry-level requirement
  • Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook/Email
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a variety of settings, including acute care, outpatient, long-term care, and community settings
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Must be able to meet the physical and mental demands of the job
