Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Architect to join our team at Resonaite. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) and extensive experience deploying and managing Trend Micro solutions in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement IDS/IPS Solutions: Develop and deploy Trend Micro IDS/IPS solutions across multiple environments, ensuring seamless integration with AWS and Azure Sentinel.
  • Lead Deployment and Integration Efforts: Oversee the deployment and integration of IDS/IPS systems with AWS and Azure Sentinel, ensuring optimal security monitoring and incident response.
  • Develop and Maintain Security Policies: Create and maintain security policies and rulesets for IDS/IPS systems, ensuring compliance with organizational security goals.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align IDS/IPS deployments with organizational security objectives.
  • Monitor and Analyze IDS/IPS Alerts: Monitor and analyze IDS/IPS alerts, providing timely incident response and resolution.
  • Provide Expertise and Guidance: Offer expertise and guidance on IDS/IPS best practices and configurations, ensuring optimal security posture.
  • Conduct Regular Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness of IDS/IPS solutions.
  • Prepare and Maintain Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on IDS/IPS architecture, deployment, and incident response procedures.
  • Train and Mentor Team Members: Train and mentor team members on IDS/IPS operations and cloud security practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience as an IDS/IPS Architect: Proven experience as an IDS/IPS Architect, specializing in Trend Micro solutions.
  • Extensive Experience in Deploying and Managing IDS/IPS Systems: Extensive experience in deploying and managing IDS/IPS systems in AWS and Azure environments.
  • Strong Understanding of Network Security: Strong understanding of network security, intrusion detection, and prevention technologies.
  • Hands-on Experience Integrating IDS/IPS Solutions with Azure Sentinel: Hands-on experience integrating IDS/IPS solutions with Azure Sentinel for centralized monitoring and incident management.
  • Solid Knowledge of Cloud Security Best Practices: Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices and frameworks (AWS and Azure).
  • Experience with Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting and automation for IDS/IPS deployments and monitoring (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, or Trend Micro Certified Professional.
