Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical and psychiatric histories, current medications, and health updates.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure seamless transitions to our units.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform crisis interventions and make referrals as needed.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice nursing in the state of Michigan (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Previous psychiatric nursing or assessment experience.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
