Charcuterie Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Charcuterie Specialist at Metro Inc. in Sainte-Anne-de-La-Pérade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and accurately count merchandise, such as cured meats, cheeses, or other products sold by the charcuterie department, ordered by the department manager or assistant manager and ensure they are properly placed in the storage area, refrigerator, freezer, or other designated storage area.
• Carve cured meats, cut cheeses, and package them. Weigh, label, and display, according to department rules, cured meats, cheeses, and other products sold by the department.
• Update prices on display tables and, if necessary, on products sold by the department.
• Rotate merchandise on display tables and maintain a clean work area.
• Provide excellent customer service at the charcuterie/fromagerie counter for customers seeking products sold by the department.
• Adhere to government health standards.
• Wear required safety equipment.
• Perform any other related tasks as required by their immediate supervisor.
