Position: Project Manager, Mechanical

The Project Manager, Mechanical is a key role in driving the design, procurement, and execution of mechanical scopes throughout the QuadReal development portfolio. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the mechanical design process, working closely with consultants and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Manage system design, costing, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and operational implementation of mechanical systems.
  3. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, construction managers, consultants, and other vendors.
  4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  5. Collaborate with QuadReal's project development, leasing, operations, and joint venture ownership stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 7 years of mechanical system project management experience on large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical construction, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and controls.
  • Ability to evaluate change pricing and market knowledge on material pricing and labor estimates.
  • Established relationships and network within the industry, including suppliers, manufacturers, authorities having jurisdiction, design consultants, and engineers.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and by-laws, sustainability principles, and real-estate development and construction processes.
