Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Trucking Company's operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, promoting a positive image.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, promoting a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or logistics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization effectively.
  • Interpersonal awareness and team player skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment.
