Klassen Greenhouse Farms Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop handling, harvesting, and maintenance of our greenhouses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare the greenhouse for planting and harvesting
  • Grade and pack produce for market
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
  • Assist with planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
  • Remove suckers and water sprouts from plants
  • Tie and secure plants
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Cut horticultural crops
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work at heights, in wet/damp, hot, and cold/refrigerated environments
  • Physically demanding work, requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work overtime as required
Work Environment:

Our greenhouses are located in a rural area, and the work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. You will be required to work at heights, in wet/damp, hot, and cold/refrigerated environments.
