About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Faubourg Bistro and Patisserie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Ensure the smooth operation of our food service team, including supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, establish work schedules, and maintain accurate records of employee hours and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
