Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our buildings by applying paints, coatings, and other finishes to various surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings to interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and furniture.
  • Perform carpentry tasks, such as repairing and replacing woodwork, to maintain the integrity of our buildings.
  • Operate power tools, such as sanders and drills, to prepare surfaces for finishing.
  • Work at heights, using scaffolding and ladders, to access high areas for painting and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Five years of experience as a journeyman painter in a healthcare facility or similar environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on trade skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
