Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Security Guard to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to facilities, reporting any irregularities

• Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential risks, such as unlocked doors or hazardous materials

• Collaborate with nursing staff and Protective Services to ensure patient safety and respond to emergencies

• Utilize surveillance cameras and other tools to monitor situations and prevent breaches of security

• Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents and security breaches

Requirements

• Hold a valid Alberta Security license or be able to obtain one

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain professional and composed in challenging situations

• Ability to write clear and concise reports and maintain routine logs

• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Benefits

Paladin Security offers a competitive compensation package, including medical and dental insurance. This is a full-time and part-time position, with opportunities for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, as well as weekends. We have 5 openings available for this position.
