IT Analyst

Alteo Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to join our team in Victoriaville. As an IT Analyst, you will play a key role in driving our digital transformation strategy and ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT systems.

1. Analyze Business Needs: Conduct thorough analyses to identify areas for improvement in our digital transformation plan.
2. Develop and Implement Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to revise and implement our digital transformation plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
3. Cybersecurity Expertise: Participate in the implementation of government cybersecurity measures and recommend best practices to optimize our infrastructure.
4. Administrative Software Evaluation: Evaluate administrative software to ensure it meets our business needs and recommend innovative solutions.
5. Techno-Pedagogical Solutions: Propose innovative techno-pedagogical solutions to enhance our IT services.
6. IT Solutions Advice: Advise staff on the use of IT solutions and collaborate in the development of technological training courses.
7. Institutional Policies Review: Review institutional policies and procedures to ensure alignment with our digital transformation strategy.
8. Client Needs Analysis: Meet with internal clients, analyze their needs, and advise them on available technological solutions.
9. Request Analysis: Perform preliminary and detailed analyses of requests to identify business needs and model processes.
10. Forecast Requirements: Identify forecast requirements to maintain capacity and smooth operation of IT services.
11. IT Project Portfolio Development: Participate in the development and implementation of IT project portfolios, including trials and proofs of concept.
12. Resource Evaluation: Evaluate the human, financial, material, and information resources required to support our IT services.
13. Service Improvement: Monitor and improve existing services and implement new functionalities and services.
14. Work Plan Development: Draw up a work plan and monitor the execution of work in collaboration with stakeholders.
15. Documentation Development: Design and develop the documentation required to operate information resources.

1. Education: BAC in IT or equivalent.
2. Certification: Certificate in Cybersecurity (asset).
3. Experience: 5-10 years' experience as an IT Analyst.
4. IT Security Knowledge: Experience and/or strong interest in the field of IT security.
5. IT Generalist: Good knowledge of infrastructures, web development, IT industry norms, and standards.
6. Analytical and Synthesis Skills: Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Excellent ability to write documentation and analysis reports in French.
8. Interpersonal Skills: Interpersonal skills, ability to establish good relations with internal customers at all levels of the organization.
9. Dynamic and Pro-Active: Dynamic, pro-active, with a sense of ownership.
10. Team Player: Team player with collaborative leadership.
11. Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written French.
