We want all patients to leave our office feeling like we have addressed all their concerns and questions. Our practice offers a variety of services including cosmetic services, dental implants, family services, sedation options and orthodontics.
Schedule:
We are looking for a full-time Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work a 13-month contract with the following schedule:
- Mondays: 8:00am to 7:00pm
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Fridays: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (when needed)
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Appropriately assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating services for patient care
- Performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
- Serving as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
- Establishing and retaining patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients' expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour
About You:
We are looking for a qualified Dental Hygiene Specialist with:
- A completed Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree
- Registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with provincial licensing
- Valid CPR certification
